ACM SIGGRAPH is an international organization, with members focused on creating and discovering computer graphics/interactivity at companies, studios and research centers around the world. Attendees and contributors of its annual conferences travel far and near to create, inspire and enjoy the vibrant sense of community that is SIGGRAPH. To support this, the ACM SIGGRAPH International Resources Committee (IRC) hosts the International Center at the SIGGRAPH conference, and also drives year-round strategies that promote ACM SIGGRAPH, connect our global community, and provide useful services.

At the SIGGRAPH conference in North America, the International Center features a visitor-services booth, a lounge, and the ACM SIGGRAPH Theater: a space for meetings, talks and demonstrations. At the SIGGRAPH Asia conference, we host a visitor-services booth, and in 2016 we will organize regional sessions to be held in one of the conference rooms.

English Review Service
The International Resources Committee’s English Review Service offers expertise that could greatly improve the material you submit to the SIGGRAPH conference. A team of native English-speaking volunteers will read your submission and provide suggestions to improve the legibility of the text in English. If you think your submission might benefit from this service, please read this year’s guidelines:
Will you need a visa to travel to the SIGGRAPH conference? What interesting events are happening in town during the conference? Which hotels offer shuttle service to the conference? Where can one exchange currency? We have the answers to your questions.
NoirMaker: A Social Game at the SIGGRAPH Conferences
At the SIGGRAPH conferences 2014 and 2015, the International Resources Committee hosted a social game that connected attendees with conference content and host city. The game was based on the storyline of ‘1940s international spies’, and also highlighted an interesting consumer-level technology. At SIGGRAPH 2015, the game, titled ‘Genetic Transfiguration’, included aspects of ‘genomic data’ and featured the NeuroSky ‘mind reader’.
