The ACM SIGGRAPH New Communities team is excited to launch “A Conversation With… a series of chats focused on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, within a small group of people. These conversations are casual, intriguing, and interactive sessions that enable attendees to take part in the conversation. The sessions are intentionally limited to be around 8-10 people to make the conversation more personal. At the end of each month, the conversation will feature different speakers including renowned academics, pioneers, practitioners, artists, animators, designers that are part of our SIGGRAPH community.
The New Communities strategy team would like to invite volunteers to participate and help arrange our year-round events. The role will involve liaising between New Communities and other standing committees to help support “A Conversation With…” and other events that engage with communities new to SIGGRAPH. An approximate time commitment of 2 hours per week (increasing close to monthly events) will be required. The volunteer will work closely with the New Communities strategy team.
Please contact Mashhuda Glencross if you are interested in volunteering.
