Policies

Organizational Policies and Procedures

See the most recent version of the ACM SIGGRAPH organizational policies and procedures, as approved by the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee. We will continue to update this document as changes are made.

Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities

The open exchange of ideas is central to the Association for Computing Machinery’s mission. This requires an environment that embraces diversity and provides a safe, welcoming environment for all.

ACM’s policy against discrimination and harassment applies to all ACM activities, including:

  • conferences, symposia, workshops, and events sponsored, co-sponsored, or in cooperation with ACM any ACM SIG or Chapter or any other ACM subunit;
  • ACM member meetings;
  • exchanges among committees or other bodies associated with ACM activities publications and communications sent through communication channels associated with ACM, including social media.

How to Report Unacceptable Behavior

ACM SIGGRAPH CARES

As a proactive measure to support ACM’s policy against discrimination and harassment, the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee has created ACM SIGGRAPH CARES. ACM SIGGRAPH CARES is a new sub-committee of the Diversity and Inclusion Standing Committee, and its members can be an advisor for people and can provide advice on the steps necessary to have complaints further investigated by ACM.

Social Media Guidelines

See the most recent version of the ACM SIGGRAPH Social Media Guidelines, as approved by the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee.

Logos Policy

ACM SIGGRAPH’s unified graphic identity strengthens the organization’s name and image via a distinctive mark applied consistently throughout all of our events, publications, and activities.

Our logo use policy describes the logo in clear terms and defines general classes of acceptable and prohibited use.  More information can be found on the following page.
