Computer Graphics International
Computer Graphics International is one of the oldest international conferences on computer graphics. It is an essential yearly meeting where academics present their latest models and technologies, and explore new trends and ideas. In previous years, it has been held in many different places worldwide: UK, Germany, Australia, and many other nations in Europe, Asia, and America.
Computer Graphics International (CGI) '15, the 32nd annual conference will take place on June 24-26, 2015 in Strasbourg, France. The city of Strasbourg is located in the center of Europe, at the crossroads of France, Germany and Switzerland. The conference will be organized by the Computer Graphics and Geometry Group of ICube Laboratory (CNRS/Université de Strasbourg).
Located close to the border with Germany, Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region in eastern France. It is well known for hosting a number of important European institutes. Besides providing an excellent exhibition location and good transport connections, Strasbourg also offers historical and cultural attractions — Its historic city center, the Grande Île (Grand Island), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honor was placed on an entire city center.
Keynote speakers for the conference will be Alexei (Alyosha) Efros of UC Berkeley, Ayellet Tal of Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and Lap-Pui Chau of Nanyang Technological University.
