Student Volunteers
Applicants must be enrolled as full-time high school, vocational, polytechnic, undergraduate, or graduate students during some part of the 2008 - 2009 academic year. Students must plan to arrive in Singapore no later than 4 pm on Monday, 8 December 2008 and depart no earlier than Sunday, 14 December 2008. Other arrangements for arrival and departure may be made by contacting the Student Volunteers Chair but may disqualify applicants from being accepted unless approved by the Chair in advance.
Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before 8 December 2008 to participate as a student volunteer. Students must present a current, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport at SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 in order to receive their conference badges and materials. Students under 18 years old will not be considered for the Student Volunteers Program.
Applicants must be proficient in English, and all applications must be submitted in English.
All students, regardless of discipline or area of interest, are encouraged to apply. No prior experience with the annual SIGGRAPH conference or computer graphics is required. We are looking for reliable, hard-working, self-starting, independent, enthusiastic students who are excited about the conference and who want to be among the next generation of industry leaders and professionals.
